BACKGROUND: Childbirth brings many changes to women's life and sexual health. The influence of operative vaginal delivery on sexual function has produced inconsistent results.
AIM: To evaluate the effects of mode of vaginal delivery (spontaneous or operative) in postpartum sexual function.
METHODS: Descriptive prospective study (MOODS- Maternal-neonatal Outcomes in Operative Vaginal Delivery) including 304 women who had a singleton term vaginal delivery (operative or spontaneous in a relation 2:1). Women were invited to answer a questionnaire at 3, 6 months and 1 year postpartum.

Post-operative morbidity and mortality factors were investigated in a retrospective study of 34 patients aged over 70 operated upon for gastric ulcer. In June 1982, a 9-year-old girl sustained a total scalp avulsion including the entire right eyebrow, the upper third of the skin of the dorsum of the nose and the medial half of the left eyebrow. On both sides the temporal skin was included and in the neck a border of just 1 cm of hairbearing area was left intact. The scalp was successfully replanted. The operative procedures, the pre-operative and post-operative treatment are described and discussed. The follow-up time is 3 years and the sequelae have been found to be minimal.

Laparoscopy was used as an ancillary method for infrequently occurring or unconventional indications in 140 patients. Diagnostic laparoscopy was done if other clinical, laboratory and biophysical methods were inconclusive or not conclusive in due time. Under some conditions operative laparoscopy or a combined vaginal and laparoscopic approach eliminated the need for laparotomy. No special equipment is required for such diagnostic and operative laparoscopy.

PURPOSE: The purpose of the study was to determine the association between early post-operative improvement in tearing and the long-term success rate of endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy (eDCR).
METHODS: A retrospective review of consecutive patients who underwent eDCR and were followed up for at least 6 months at our institution from January 2010 to December 2017 was performed.

METHODS: Five patients with vesicovaginal fistula in Xiangya Hospital, Central South University, were reviewed retrospectively from May 2013 to July 2014.
