PURPOSE: Nutrition and diet are vital for oral and systemic health. It is unclear how well US predoctoral dental programs prepare students in nutrition screening and counseling. This study analyzed US dental school curricula on these topics.
METHODS: A cross-sectional online survey was sent to the publicly available email addresses of 67 of 72 academic dental deans at US Commission on Dental Accreditation-accredited dental schools.
