This study aims to explore the effects of spray processes with four different disinfectants on airborne culturable and pathogenic microbial concentrations, microbial community compositions and health risk assessments in chicken houses. Bacterial spores in materials and equipment pose significant biosecurity risks, making effective disinfection crucial. This study evaluated Ortho-phthalaldehyde (OPA) and a quaternary ammonia-glutaraldehyde solution (AG) for inactivating spores of Bacillus thuringiensis (BT), B. cereus (BC), and two strains of B. velezensis (BV1 and BV2). Currently, nano silver fungicide prepared in the laboratory is used to disinfect arthroscopic surgical instruments. In this study, nano silver fungicides with stable properties were prepared and characterized. Afterwards, their bactericidal properties as well as mucus peeling properties were further tested.
