49 years male, who comes to the urology department, complaining of 8 months of lower abdominal pain, burning and oppressive type, of variable intensity reaching 9/10, which is occasionally exacerbated by urination, associated with intermittent gross hematuria, dysuria, refers no fever at any time. Patient with past medical history of bladder and right kidney Tuberculosis (TBC) 25 years ago, treated with a simple right nephrectomy and bladder augmentation with antrum segment of stomach, for low bladder capacity. Never showed any symptom during those 25 years lapsing time.

This paper describes the development and successful implementation of an evidence-based clinical practice guideline dealing with uncomplicated urinary tract infection in adult women (acute dysuria guideline). This guideline was based on an evaluation and synthesis of the medical literature using the best available evidence. A 9-year-old castrated male Yorkshire Terrier was evaluated for dysuria and rectal prolapse 2 weeks after bilateral perineal herniorrhaphy. Dysuria was secondary to caudal displacement of the bladder, rather than retroflexion of the bladder. Dysuria and rectal prolapse were associated with disruption of supporting ligaments of the urinary bladder and colon, which may have been caused by tenesmus. Combined cystopexy and colopexy were used successfully to treat the dysuria and rectal prolapse.

One hundred and thirteen patients with dysuria and/or frequency were treated randomly with either 500 mg cephradine 12-hourly or 125 mg cefuroxime axetil 12-hourly, for seven days. The efficacy of a single dose trimethoprim in the treatment of the dysuria/pyuria syndrome in women was prospectively studied in an open, controlled and randomized trail. Of 90 women aged 18-60 years 68 had and 22 had not significant bacteriuria when the urine was cultured. The 42 women in the single-dose group received trimethoprim 400 mg once while the 48 in the multi-dose group received trimethoprim 200 mg X 2 for five days. Ureaplasma urealyticum is a bacterial species correlated with urethritis in healthy individuals and invasive infections in immunocompromised patients. We describe a 20-year-old female with a history of remote heart transplant on everolimus, mycophenolate, and rituximab presenting with progressive urinary tract symptoms, renal failure, and neurologic symptoms. An extensive workup ultimately identified U urealyticum infection, and the patient successfully recovered after a course of azithromycin and doxycycline.

A Cowper's duct cyst is a rare entity that occurs most commonly in young men. The current urologic literature supports management with a transurethral unroofing procedure.
