In this study, the effect of thymidine kinase deficiency on the responses of the human lymphoblastoid cell line Raji to methyl methanesulphonate and mitomycin C was investigated. Mutagen sensitivity was measured in terms of cell survival and mutation to hypoxanthine-guanine phosphoribosyltransferase deficiency.
