A 10-year-old golden retriever dog was presented for chronic right forelimb lameness associated with a painful swelling at the lateral aspect of the proximal ulna. Proximal ulnar ostectomy and stabilization resulted in a good clinical outcome. The proposed diagnosis is chronic desmitis and enthesiophytosis of the radio-ulnar interosseous ligament.

The aim of the study was to reveal the value of radio-imaging methods in the diagnostic assessment of chest wall metastases. Chordomas are the most common sacrococcygeal tumors in adults. They have a high recurrence rate, are locally aggressive, and are resistant to radiation therapy. Radio frequency is a relatively new therapeutic technique, used primarily in the treatment of liver tumors; however, its application has widened to include other neoplasms. We report its use in the palliative treatment of chordomas in two patients for debulking and control of pain, with good results and low morbidity.

The technique of radio-radial monobloc-fixation with the small AO external fixator device has been applied to 17 consecutive Colles' fractures. The fracture types were mainly A3 and C2, according to the AO classification. We found this technique to be easy and quick in application and stable in fixation. Hemangiopericytoma is a rare type of neoplasia originating from the Zimmermann pericytes and can arise in numerous sites. As it is difficult to correlate the histologic aspect with the prognosis, it was considered advisable to take account of other factors such as age and tumoral site. Aggressive surgery followed by irradiation therapy is suggested as the most suitable management.
