The thermal exploitation of wastewood with Greek lignite was investigated by performing tests in a laboratory-scale fluidized bed reactor, a 1-MW(th) semi-industrial circulating fluidized bed combustor, and an industrial boiler. Issues about train driver fatigue are important in the safety of railway systems. This study investigates the subjective perception of fatigue of conventional railway system drivers. The multidimensional Rasch model was used to measure two subjective latent constructs, namely, perceived fatigue awareness and perceived fatigue control. Analytical results show that 21% of the train drivers are unable to control fatigue. The present study examines the association between asbestos-related pleural plaques and lung function in a group of workers with occupational exposure to asbestos. BACKGROUND: Railway disasters cause huge loss of life and resources. A triple train collision occurred at 7 PM on 2nd June 2023 at Bahanaga, Balasore, Odisha. It was the third deadliest train accident in India with 288 deaths and more than 900 injured. The article covers results of study concerning influence of Captopril (25 mg) therapy on occupational activity of locomotive crew workers in real night travels model on training complex "EP1M locomotive operator cabin". Findings are that single use of Captopril (25 mg) in modelled railway activity enabled to increase reliability of occupational activity, that manifested in lower number of errors in locomotive operators' actions at night, and in psychophysiologic regulation of various psychic acts.
