Adult T-cell-leukemia (ATL) cells were examined for susceptibility to human T-cell-leukemia virus type I (HTLV-I) tax-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL) derived from a patient with HTLV-I-associated myelopathy/tropical spastic paraparesis (HAM/TSP).
