The authors report a series of 36 patients of Apert's Syndrome in whom a genetic analysis was performed. 2 major types of mutation were found (S252W and P253R). The correlation between the type of mutation and certain clinical abnormalities allowed validation of Upton's modification of Blauth's classification and also helped add a prognostic indicator for the intellectual development of the child. Thus, global treatment of the child should take into account not just the clinical abnormalities but also its intellectual prospects.

The records of 119 patients with 196 extremities with radial longitudinal deficiency seen between 1923 and 1996 were reviewed. We propose a global classification system that includes the spectrum of pathology affecting the radial side of the extremity, including deficiency of the radius, carpal abnormalities, and hypoplastic thumbs. Neurologists can only classify headaches, not patients. Doing that, they are well aware that this is partially arbitrary. But classification is essential, especially for primary headaches (migraine, tension type headache, cluster headache) to achieve epidemiological and physiopathological studies. The ultrasonographic findings of 25 lesions in 23 patients with surgically proven ovarian masses were reviewed. There were 10 cystic teratom … the solid pattern were all malignant masses: one dysgerminoma, two NHL and one mixed form. DESIGN: A prospective study to grade four features of endometrial lesions (thickness, surface, color, vascularization) and subdivide them as mild (low risk) and severe (high risk).

A classification of vaginal anomalies has been derived, which permits logical operative decisions. This tool allows the assignment of increasingly involved reconstructive operations to progressively more complex vaginal anatomies.
