Open-label risperidone was administered to 26 subjects (24 boys: 19 with borderline IQ and 5 with mild mental retardation), 10-18 years old, who were hospitalized for treatment of psychiatric disorders associated with aggressive behavior. OBJECTIVES: To discern the differences in demographic, clinical comorbidities, and hospital outcomes associated with narcolepsy in adolescents hospitalized for mood disorders.
METHODS: We included 639,064 adolescents hospitalized with mood disorders, that is, major depressive disorder (MDD) and bipolar disorders (BP) from the nationwide inpatient sample.
