Nickel-elicited systemic contact dermatitis is a well-known entity, although it is far less common than allergic contact dermatitis. We report a case of a 19-year-old male with rocuronium-induced anaphylactic shock. He was scheduled for endoscopic sinus surgery for chronic sinusitis under general anesthesia. A case of widespread non-specific, itchy exanthema in a 74-year-old female is presented. An early skin biopsy showed eosinophilic spongiosis. Later a dermatitis herpetiformis-like eruption developed. However, immunofluorescence microscopy showed intercellular IgG deposits characteristic of pemphigus. Recognition of eosinophilis spongiosis may be helpful in differentiating early pemphigus from other bullous diseases.

This case-report concerns the problem of rubella-reinfection in pregnancy (17th week of gestation). Inspite of documented maternal immunity infection was followed by transmission of virus to the fetus. Nowadays in most countries antenatal maternal screening for rubella seems to be sufficient. The observation of cutaneous exanthema, however, demands further investigation, even if maternal immunity was documented.

We report a case of Gianotti-Crosti syndrome associated with human herpesvirus-6 (HHV-6) infection. An eight-month-old girl developed monomorphous papules on her cheeks, buttocks, and extremities after the subsidence of exanthema subitum. Viral antibody analysis confirmed primary HHV-6 infection. HHV-6 may be added to the list of causative agents of Gianotti-Crosti syndrome.

Report on a twin pregnancy terminated by Caesarean section in the 35th pregnancy week due to retardation and pathological Doppler findings in the umbilical artery and fetal aorta. At the time of Caesarean section the mother suffered from florid varicella infection. The newborns treated with varicella hyperimmunoglobulin and acyclovir developed abortive varicella exanthema without further complications.

We report the case of a 62 year old women with chronic idiopathic myelofibrosis who developed acute lymphadenopathy. At the same time diabetes insipidus, osteolytic bone lesions and exanthema of the skin were diagnosed. Suspected Langerhans cell histiocytosis could be proven by repeated biopsies of affected organs.
