The purpose of this retrospective study was to introduce our successful use of tensor fascia lata allograft to reconstruct various soft tissue defects. Since May 2021, we have applied tensor fascia lata allografts in eight cases. PURPOSE: To report the effect of lower eyelid temporalis fascia sling combined with lateral canthoplasty and tarsorrhaphy for paralytic ectropion.
METHODS: Prospective case series of 10 patients with lower lid paralytic ectropion who were treated with lower eyelid fascia temporalis sling and lateral canthoplasty in addition to lateral tarsorrhaphy as a single-session procedure. Eight older women with stress incontinence caused by intrinsic urethral weakness underwent sling surgery with allogenic fascia lata. The tolerance of the material was excellent. In 1 case a secondary release of the fixation on the pecten was necessary because of too much tension; in the other cases the evolution was uneventful and resulted in perfect continence lasting for at least 2 years of follow-up.

Forty-one eyelids of 21 patients with congenital entropion or epiblepharon underwent transcutaneous reconstruction of the eyelid crease and retractor (capsulopalpebral fascia). All of the patients demonstrated lack of cutaneous-capsulopalpebral fascia attachment.
