Aggressive angiomyxoma is a rare tumour that typically occurs in the perineum in women of reproductive age. A small number of cases occurring in men have been reported, all of which were located in the low pelvis, perineum or scrotum. Eight patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) who developed bacterial infection of the perirectal area or perineum are reported. The diagnosis was not always straightforward. Bacteremia was seen in 3 of 8 patients and one of these died. Careful examination of the anus, rectum, and perineum should be mandatory in ESRD patients with undiagnosed fever. Treatment consisted of extensive surgical debridement and drainage along with antimicrobial therapy.

Haematoma of the vulva may occur following blunt trauma due to its highly vascular structure. We present two cases of haematoma of the vulva caused by domestic violence, following a kick on the perineum and falling astride on the perineum. Congenital anterior urethrocutaneous fistula (CAUF) is a rare anomaly, commonly observed in the mid-shaft or more distal position of the penis. It can be seen in the perineum in anorectal anomalies or in cases of duplicated urethra. However, isolated CAUF opening into the perineum has not been reported. Herein, we present a case of congenital anterior urethral diverticulum and possible perineal urethrocutaneous fistula of an otherwise healthy neonate.

The perineum is an area of rich blood supply with multiple arterial anastomoses. Flaps raised on perforators around the perineum resemble the petals of the lotus and can be used to reconstruct a variety of vulvo-vaginal defects. Thirteen such flaps have been used successfully without any loss of flaps in eight patients. Eight flaps in four patients were used for vulvar reconstruction following radical vulvectomy.

Aggressive angiomyxoma is a rare mesenchymal tumor occurring usually in women of reproductive age in pelvic-perineum region. These myofibroblastic tumors rarely affect men and non-pelvic-perineum anatomical sites. There are few literature references for aggressive angiomyxoma in men.
