Antibiotic resistance of Acinetobacter poses a serious threat to public health. Still, the antibiotic resistance features of marine Acinetobacter remain largely unexplored. Here, an Acinetobacter beijerinkii strain, named as MPE71, was isolated from the marine plastisphere.
