The author describes a case of reimplantation of 44 of a 35-year-old woman, 19 years ago. Later, 10 years after the reimplantation apical osteotomy, according to indications, was performed to the same tooth. PURPOSE: This study evaluated the healing process of teeth replanted after root treatment and intracanal dressing with indomethacin alone or … teeth dried for 50 minutes, but the use of indomethacin alone as root surface treatment for delayed tooth replantation deserves further study using longer drying periods. Regeneration of bone defects remains a clinically important problem in many instances. This paper reports on the use of membrane technique combined with decalcified freeze-dried bone allograft to promote bone formation after extraction of a replanted central incisor with extensive root resorption. The procedure prevented ridge reduction, both buccolingually and apicocoronally, and will facilitate prosthetic replacement of the lost tooth without esthetic problems.
