We report a case of vulvar silicone granulomas following injection of liquid silicone into the labia. The patient is a 51-yr-old female who presented with vulvar pain and enlarged, indurated labia majora. In the past, she had undergone bilateral labial cosmetic augmentation with a silicone-based filler injected directly into the labia and into the gluteal regions. Thirty-eight patients with a total of 45 primary uncemented bipolar hemiarthroplasties with smooth femoral components were observed for an average period of 5 years. Clinical results were excellent in 17, good in 15, fair in 10, and poor in 3 hips. Radiographs showed stem loosening and bipolar head migration in 12 and 2 hips, respectively. OBJECTIVE: To describe the risk factors, clinical course, and complications of migration of a dexamethasone (DEX) intravitreal implant (OZURDEX; Allergan, Inc., Irvine, CA) into the anterior chamber and subsequent management strategies.
DESIGN: Retrospective, observational case series.
PARTICIPANTS: Fifteen patients had 18 episodes of migration of the DEX implant into the anterior chamber.
METHODS: The medical records of 15 patients with spontaneous migration of a DEX implant were retrospectively reviewed.

PURPOSE: To introduce cases of intraocular lens (IOL) malposition after sutureless intrascleral fixation.
METHODS: We retrospectively analyzed the medical records of patients who underwent sutureless intrascleral fixation. Cases with postoperative IOL requiring reoperation were analyzed further.

Device embolization is a rare major complication of atrial septal defect percutaneous closures which requires surgical management if noninvasive retrieval fails. We report a symptomatic delayed embolization of an Amplatzer septal occluder device into the left ventricle outflow tract tangled with the mitral valve, complicated with ventricular arrhythmias and cardiac tamponade during percutaneous retrieval attempt. Emergent surgical treatment was performed, requiring a combined approach through the right atrium and the aorta for surgical removal.
