PURPOSE: To evaluate the value of subtraction images when using MRI to assess liver tumors treated with percutaneous ablation.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: Following percutaneous ablation of 35 liver tumors, two abdominal radiologists, blinded to outcomes, independently reviewed follow-up MRI examinations for tumoral enhancement suggestive of residual/recurrent tumor and rated their confidence level. PURPOSE: To report two cases of conjunctival epithelial neoplasias occurring after long-term systemic cyclosporine therapy in organ transplant recipients.
METHODS: Case report. Each patient underwent an excision of an extensive limbal conjunctival lesion, followed by a histopathologic analysis.
RESULTS: Histopathologic examination results revealed a carcinoma in situ and a squamous cell carcinoma in patients 1 and 2, respectively. Recurrence occurred in patient 1, who needed topical mitomycin C 0.02% treatment. No recurrence was observed in patient 2 after a follow-up of 24 months.

This is a retrospective study of the cure rates of forty patients with subungual and periungual viral warts treated with carbon dioxide laser vapourisation (total of 69 lesions). 70.6% (48/68) lesions had failed treatment with cryotherapy and/or electrocautery treatment previously. 20/68 were treated with CO2 laser vapourisation as a first line treatment. Sternal metastases are uncommon and challenging to treat with ablation due to adjacent mediastinal structures and severe pain. This retrospective study conducted between 2017 and 2025 reviewed 14 patients (10 females and 4 males; mean age, 62 years; range, 39-79 years) treated with percutaneous cryoablation, which offers a less invasive option for palliation.
