Hematopoietic stem and progenitor cell (HSPC) transplantations require prior harvesting of allogeneic or autologous HSPCs. HSPCs are usually present in bone marrow (BM) during the entire life, in cord blood (CB) at birth, or in peripheral blood (PB) under particular circumstances. T-cell re-directional therapies, including chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cell and bispecific antibodies (BsA), have transformed the treatment landscape to benefit patients with multiple myeloma.
