INTRODUCTION: Globally, school meals programmes (SMPs), otherwise referred to as school feeding programmes, are widely implemented with the aim of improving multisectoral outcomes, including education, health and nutrition, social protection and agriculture, among other cross-cutting impact areas. Despite their widespread adoption and the broad recognition of their potential benefits, evidence on their actual impact across these diverse outcomes remains limited, fragmented and often inconclusive. This lack of consolidated and robust evidence has prompted growing interest from development and h

BACKGROUND: Patient and public involvement (PPI) aims to increase the relevance and impact of research by ensuring that outcomes align with the real needs of those involved. In PPI, the public actively participates in all stages of research, which has been shown to improve research quality, empower participants, and enrich researchers' understanding of patients' and the public's lived experiences. However, implementing PPI poses a challenge for many researchers, making training essential as it provides the necessary skills to incorporate PPI meaningfully into their projects. Thus, this review

BACKGROUND: Cardio-oncology has developed as an intersection science and practice, balancing the risks and benefits of chemotherapy treatment. Implementing a cardio-oncology program in practice is currently one of the most challenging areas of clinical medicine. In Romania, there are scarce cardio-oncology centers and no dedicated training programs. Thus, the care of these patients is highly heterogeneous and empirical, often without following guideline recommendations.
STUDY QUESTION: This study evaluates the awareness and knowledge of cardio-oncology diagnosis and treatment strategies among

Treponeme-associated hoof disease (TAHD) is an emerging disease of conservation concern in elk (Cervus canadensis) in the Northwest USA. Elk with TAHD exhibit characteristic hoof lesions that are often accompanied by lameness and limping. The gold standard approach traditionally used for infectious disease surveillance is laboratory confirmation, which for TAHD is a histologic examination of abnormal elk hooves submitted by wildlife agencies. Diagnostic evaluation affords certainty in confirming TAHD; however, these examinations are also labor and resource intensive, and therefore, not conduci
