We showed previously that a theoretical model treating the glomerular capillary wall as a membrane with uniformly distributed fixed negative charges can account for the observed filtration rates of charged derivatives of dextran in the rat. In this study, we proposed to apply an integrated process which is comprised of in situ ozonation, ceramic membrane filtration (CMF) and biologically active carbon (BAC) filtration to wastewater reclamation for indirect potable reuse purpose. We report the use of a symblepharon ring in the treatment of seven cases of flat anterior chamber (six cases of total iridocorneal touch, and one of corneallens touch) secondary to overfiltration or to bleb leak.
