Nucleocapsids (NC) of lymphocytic choriomeningitis (LCM) virus were obtained by treatment of purified infectious virus with detergent and salt at high concentrations, followed by gradient centrifugation. The impact of heat treatment, pH and phytic acid (PA) concentration on the aggregation behavior and digestibility of whey protein isolate (WPI) was investigated.
