OBJECTIVE: To compare the clinical characteristics, clinical efficacy, overall survival rate and progression-free survival rate between different subtypes of early nasopharyngeal NK/T cell lymphoma.
METHODS: The clinical data of 83 patients with early nasopharyngeal NK/T cell lymphoma in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed, the 83 patients were divided into 2 group: 59 cases of NK cell lymphoma as group A, 24 cases of cytotoxic T-cell phenotype as group B. This paper reports on cases of malignant melanoma of the skin diagnosed in Finland between 1963 and 1968. Sufficient data for estimating the survival was obtained in 691 cases. OBJECTIVE: Involuntary electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) can be a lifesaving intervention for patients suffering from potentially lethal conditions who are unable to give informed consent. However, its use is not widespread, probably partly because of the scarce data on hard outcomes following involuntary ECT.
