The authors are showing a retrospective study of 53 cases of lichen striatus concerning sex, colour, age, place of lesions, associated diseases and period of the year of occurrence of the dermatosis. There was a larger number of cases in females of white race and age-between 2 and 5 years old. A greater occurrence was observed in the months of September and March which correspond to spring and summer. Bovine spumavirus (BSV) infection is shown to be endemic in some herds in north Queensland. The virus was readily isolated from leucocytes of the majority of mature cattle which were BSV antibody positive (BSV reactors) in the agar gel precipitin test (AGPT). In this study of photosensitivity among psoriasis patients, a questionnaire was mailed to 2000 psoriasis patients living within the service area of Karolinska Hospital, Stockholm. Of the 88% patients who replied, 4.4% stated that their psoriasis always worsened after sun exposure, and 7.3% stated that this was sometimes so. After telephone interviews with an 80% sample of these allegedly photosensitive patients, half of them were considered nonphotosensitive. 203 hospitalized old-aged patients were examined for the presence of tremor. This physical sign was found in 58.6% of cases. By far the largest diagnostic category resulted that of essential tremor: 46.7% of all patients investigated and 77.8% of all cases of tremor. The frequency of this type of tremor was found to increase proportionally to age. The conclusion is drawn that also tremor, as well as other neurological signs frequently demonstrable in "normal" old people (for example, the so-called primitive reflexes), should be inscribed in the group of the phenomena due to the ageing process

We present an epidemiological study of undescended testes. Of the cases of undescended testes two-thirds are bilateral. Undescended testes occur more often in the sons of less educated parents and mothers with lower qualified jobs.
