Rosacea is a common inflammatory facial dermatoses affecting primarily adults with fair skin, although all skin types may be affected. The diagnostic term "rosacea" reflects a spectrum of clinical features with the more common presentations characterized by increased blood flow and vasodilation during disease flares, which accentuate central facial erythema. Rosacea fulminans (RF) is a rare facial dermatosis that typically affects women with a fulminating course that presents with superficial and deep-seated papules, pustules, and nodules, as well as an intense reddish or cyanotic erythema localized to the face. Although the etiology of RF remains unknown, immunologic, hormonal, and vascular factors have been implicated. We describe a case of a 32-year-old pregnant woman presenting with RF. Presentation in a pregnant patient is not commonly reported and requires special consideration to manage.

Idiopathic facial aseptic granuloma (IFAG) is a recently described and rare condition. It is considered a form of infantile granulomatous rosacea. IFAG with facial and eyelid nodules is very rare. A description is presented of three cases of IFAG eyelid nodules. They concern healthy children with no history of trauma. Biopsy examination revealed non-caseating inflammatory granulomas. Pigmented transverse nasal band (PTNB) is an interesting morphological entity mainly of cosmetic concern. It is believed to be related to a defect in the development of the nasal cartilages and bones from childhood to adolescence. Some patients may have genetic predisposition. It is asymptomatic in nature and may be associated with certain dermatological conditions such as seborrheic diathesis, dermatosis papulosa nigra, ichthyosis, atopic dermatitis, acne vulgaris, psoriasis, and seborrheic melanosis.

A 48-year-old Hispanic man presented with a nodule on the right cheek. The lesion had started as a papule 4 months previously that had slowly enlarged and then plateaued at its present size. The nodule was asymptomatic, and the patient denied bleeding, draining, or preceding trauma. Review of systems was negative for fevers, weight loss, night sweats, lymphadenopathy, or other skin findings. Past medical history was significant only for type 2 diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, and hypertension.
