In one prospective study, 75 eyes (47 children with congenital glaucoma) were treated by trabeculotomy. Intraocular pressures were controlled in 93.4% after one or more trabeculotomy operations. In five eyes the intraocular pressure was not controlled and these had a fibrovascular membrane in the angle, extending over the trabeculum and iris base with finger-like processes over the peripheral iris. A 52-year-old woman was diagnosed as having Adie's tonic pupil in her right eye. She reported few episodes of blurring of vision in her right eye in the recent few months. PURPOSE: The aim of this presentation is to report a rare association between interatrial aneurysm and Axenfeld-Rieger syndrome.
METHODS: We present a 20-year-old girl with Axenfeld-Rieger syndrome, in whom the diagnosis was confirmed by the facial dysmorphic appearance, slit-lamp examination, applanation tonometer, gonioscopy, and cardiovascular examination.

Twenty-eight eyes were followed prospectively by goniophotography after cataract surgery. Ten had no intraocular lens (IOL), ten had the "Azar 91Z" lens implanted and eight had the Cilco "Optiflex" lens inserted. Sixty-four patients were consecutively operated for senile cataract with implantation of the semiflexible McGhan/3M, style 70, anterior chamber lens.
