This case reports on a vulvar lichen sclerosus, followed during 11 years, with poor response to many different local and general treatments. After 6 years of control the patient developed a mild atypia. Two years later, an invasive carcinoma was diagnosed and radically treated. Six months later, a local recurrence was excised. During the last year of control new biopsies of the neovulva showed, at different times, carcinoma in situ and severe atypia.

IMPORTANCE: The incidence of opioid use during pregnancy is increasing, and drug overdoses are a leading cause of postpartum mortality. Most women who are pregnant do not receive medications for treatment of opioid use disorder, despite the mortality benefit that these agents confer. Furthermore, buprenorphine is associated with milder symptoms of neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS) compared with methadone.

Influenza vaccination during pregnancy helps protect both pregnant women and infants less than 6 months of age from contracting the flu. PURPOSE OF INVESTIGATION: To describe the French practices regarding contraception after breast cancer in the 2000's.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: A total of 2,500 forms were sent to gynecologists practicing in France. Inclusion criteria were premenopausal patients who had a history of breast cancer and who had been prescribed contraception after diagnosis. Between June 1, 2002 and January 1, 2003, 197 evaluable responses were retrieved.

The objective of the current study was to provide a standardized French/English terminology/glossary relating to pregnancy losses.
METHODS: Literature review, construction of a glossary and rating of proposals using a formal consensus method. The glossary was subject of a critical comprehensive review by a meeting of professionals (multidisciplinary panel).

OBJECTIVE: Anorexia nervosa (AN) affects a large number of women, usually in their adolescence. One of the primary manifestations of the disease is menstrual irregularity, and the presence of a menstrual cycle is often used as a sign of recovery among patients. Women with AN are likely to seek medical advice from a gynecologist with regards to their period problems. The role of the gynecologist is therefore crucial in identifying and referring these patients promptly to specialised centers.
