The objective of this study is to investigate the surgical, clinical and pathological outcomes of left hemi-hepatectomy during cytoreductive surgery (CRS) in patients with primary ovarian cancer. The electronic medical charts of patients with primary ovarian cancer who received CRS including left hemi-hepatectomy from 2000 to 2023 were reviewed and retrospectively analyzed. STUDY OBJECTIVE: Recurrent torsion of otherwise normal adnexa (not involving adnexal cysts) has been reported in young girls and adolescents. Previous ovarian fixation techniques (oophoropexy), such as plication of the utero-ovarian ligament, appear to have limited efficacy in preventing recurrent torsion. A novel technique combining plication of the utero-ovarian ligament and suturing of the ovary to the round ligament has recently been described. BACKGROUND: The occurrence of an extra-uterine leiomyoma, arising from the intra-peritoneal portion of the round ligament in a lady with Müllerian agenesis diagnosed at the age of forty is extremely rare. We report a case of this rare combination in a Middle Eastern woman.
CASE: A 40 years old lady, primarily amenorrheic, presented to our clinic for an infertility consultation. The work- up showed features suggestive of Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome with a leiomyoma arising from the intra-peritoneal part of the round ligament.

An exhaustive search of the literature using the Pub Med database revealed no reports of round ligament lipomas mimicking acute appendicitis in pregnant patients. There are relatively few articles on round ligament lipomas and even less on round ligament lipomas during pregnancy. This case report is on a 27-year-old 24-week pregnant female who presented with signs and symptoms similar to acute appendicitis who in fact had a large right pelvic round ligament lipoma that was causing her pain.
