Previous studies examining reproductive parameters in men with galactosemia have inconsistently demonstrated abnormalities. We hypothesized that men with galactosemia may demonstrate evidence of reproductive dysfunction. Human male sexual development is regulated by chorionic gonadotropin (CG) and luteinizing hormone (LH). The patients ranged from 33 to 72 (average, 57) years of age.
