Spinel-type CoMn(2)O(4)nano-powders are prepared using sol-gel auto combustion (SGC) and co-precipitation (CP) methods and their catalytic activities are evaluated in combustion of 2-propanol and toluene. Blocking activities of alpha- and beta-adrenoceptors by (+/-)-1-[[2-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-ethyl]amino]-3-(3-methylphenoxy)-2 -propanol hydrochloride (NC-1400) were tested on the isolated muscles, comparing with those of labetalol and atenolol. Previously, we reported pharmacological properties of EOD, triggering apoptosis in Human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs).
