An unusual low-grade metaplastic carcinoma (müllerian carcinosarcoma) of the uterine corpus occurring in a 45-year-old woman is presented. The tumor was polypoid and showed an initial invasion into the myometrium. The epithelial component was composed of low-grade endometrioid glands that focally showed an unusual oxyphilic change of the cytoplasm. Carcinosarcoma of the esophagus includes both carcinomatous and sarcomatous elements. The classification and histogenesis of carcinosarcoma is controversial. Carcinosarcoma of the salivary gland is a rare lesion, estimated at 0.2% of malignant salivary gland tumors [1, 2]. The present article describes a case occurring in a 54-year-old man with a submandibular mass in the right neck. Precise diagnosis of carcinosarcoma of gallbladder, a rare tumor, is based on histopathology since clinical and epidemiologic elements fail to differentiate it from other gallbladder cancers. Ultrasound imaging is the most effective radiodiagnostic technique since it allows visualization of the tumor and suggests the presence of a carcinosarcoma when a polypoid or vegetating mass is detected within the gallbladder.

We report a 74-year-old woman with malignant mixed müllerian tumor and three women, aged 47, 58, and 76 years, with carcinosarcomas, all primary in the fallopian tube. The tumors grew predominantly intraluminally and were associated with hydrosalpinx. All four patients underwent salpingectomy.
