The distribution in rats of the renal agent Tc-Sn-gluconate using both 99mTc and carrier amounts of 99Tc was similar. The same behavior was shown with the bone agent Tc-Sn-EHDP. The radiopharmaceutical consequences of the observed Tc(IV) oxidation state in these systems are explored.

The estimated frequency of expanded alleles (≥55 repeats) in the United States is 1:257-1:382, but these estimates were not calculated from unbiased populations. Hot carrier (HC) cooling accounts for the significant energy loss in lead halide perovskite (LHP) solar cells. Here, we study HC relaxation dynamics in Mn-doped LHP CsPbI3 nanocrystals (NCs), combining transient absorption spectroscopy and density functional theory (DFT) calculations. A chronic carrier state of Salmonella spp is present in 0.15% of the population, and is believed to be related to the presence of a diseased gallbladder. We present a patient with common bile duct (CBD) stones, whose bile cultures repeatedly indicated Salmonella typhi, despite an adequate course of antibiotic treatment. Hypoxanthine-guanine phosphoribosyltransferase (HGPRT) deficiency is transmitted as an X-linked recessive trait.
