In this study, cytotoxic effects of the dichloromethane, ethyl acetate, ethanol, and aqueous extracts of the aerial parts of Cyclotrichium niveum (Boiss.) Manden. & Scheng (Lamiaceae) were evaluated. Hexane and dichloromethane extracts of Platostoma africanum P. Beauv., a plant popularly employed in Nigeria in the treatment of rheumatic symptoms, were evaluated for anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities.
