Three cases of spontaneous regression of Burkitt's lymphoma are reviewed and additional clinical and laboratory observations relevant to the role of host defenses are summarized. Spontaneous regression of Burkitt's lymphoma provides compelling evidence for antitumor immunity.

Spontaneous rupture of pancreatic mucinous cystic neoplasm (MCN) is rare, particularly outside pregnancy, and mediastinal extension has not been reported. We report a 34-year-old woman with a pancreatic tail MCN demonstrating continuity with the main pancreatic duct on computed tomography (CT), suggesting ductal communication. Multiple lutein cyst (MLC) and luteoma are two aspects of ovarian hyperplasia induced by high levels of human chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG). We report the remission of primary gastric lymphoma of the mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) type in two immunocompromised pediatric patients. Patient 1, a 14-year-old boy in an immunocompromised state of unknown cause, complained of repeated abdominal pain. Examinations revealed gastric MALT with local invasion and lymph node involvement. Serum anti-Helicobacter pylori (H pylori) antibody was positive. H pylori eradication was abandoned due to its adverse effects. We report a case of complete and spontaneous regression of malignant lymphoma of the stomach. A submucosal tumor with central ulceration was detected on the greater curvature of the stomach in a 63-year-old woman.
