As highly mobile and prolific animals, feral swine threaten public and livestock health. To quantify these threats, we analyzed disease surveillance samples to estimate the prevalence of key pathogens and parasites in feral swine captured in Ohio. Objectives. We examined the role of outbreak information sources through four domains: knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, and stigma related to the 2014 Ebola virus disease (EVD) outbreak. Methods. Data from our 3- year retrospective descriptive cohort quality improvement study suggests an opportunity for improvement between testing practices for Lyme borreliosis-associated facial palsy and Ohio's rising Lyme borreliosis incidence.
