Psychometric properties of the Spanish version of the Flourishing Scale in the Honduran population.

Studying Flourishing is important to understand wellbeing. The current study aimed to determine the psychometric properties of the Spanish version of the Flourishing Scale (FS) in the Honduran population. The primary sample consisted of 422 residents of the Central District of Honduras; this included 275 (65.17%) women and 147 men (34.83%). Their average age was 28.18 years (SD = 10.58). Findings from the Exploratory Factor Analysis and Confirmatory Factor Analysis support a unidimensional factor structure. The FS achieved a high internal consistency with McDonald's ω = 0.89, 95% CI [0.86, 0.9

Multistage Psychometric Testing of the Homeless Health Access to Care Tool.

People experiencing homelessness find it challenging to access the healthcare they so desperately need. To address this, we have developed the Homeless Health Access to Care Tool, which assesses health related vulnerability (burden of injury and/or illness and ability to access healthcare) and can be used to prioritize people for access to healthcare. Here, we report the initial psychometrics of the Homeless Health Access to Care Tool. To assess interrater reliability, clinician participants were invited to instinctually rate the health-related vulnerability of 18-fictional case studies and th

Development of the COVID-19-Anxiety Questionnaire and first psychometric testing.

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic may cause psychological distress in the general population and has the potential to cause anxiety regarding COVID-19. No validated questionnaires exist for the measurement of specific COVID-19 anxiety. We modified the DSM 5 - Severity Measure for Specific Phobia-Adult scale specifically for anxiety regarding COVID-19, and report the psychometric properties from an online study with 6262 participants from the general population in Germany. We analysed internal consistency as well as concordant validity. The scale showed good internal consistency

Evaluation of the psychometric properties of the Multidimensional Revenge Attitudes Inventory-21.

Despite a few hypothesized associations between revenge and suicide in the suicide literature, the potential of revenge as a multidimensional construct related to suicide has remained unexplored. Using data from undergraduate samples across 2 studies, we examined support for the psychometric properties and nomological network of scores on the Multidimensional Revenge Attitudes Inventory-21 (MRAI-21), a new self-report instrument composed of 3 dimensions: craving for revenge, revenge rumination, and suicide-related revenge. Results from Study 1 (N = 510), suggested that a 3-factor oblique solut

Psychometric evaluation of the Chinese version of the Utrecht Grief Rumination Scale.

Given the severe mental health consequences that may ensue after bereavement, it is crucial to better understand malleable cognitive factors that are associated with poorer bereavement outcomes. Grief rumination (i.e., repetitive thinking about the causes and consequences of a loss) is a malleable cognitive process that is concurrently and longitudinally associated with postloss mental health problems. To assess grief rumination, the English and Dutch Utrecht Grief Rumination Scale (UGRS) were recently developed. The current study examined the reliability and validity of a Chinese version of t
