Mice were immunized with alpha-bungarotoxin (BGT), a nearly irreversible antagonist of the acetylcholine receptor (AChR), to produce monoclonal antibodies (Mabs). One of the Mabs (JMC2.7) bound not only to BGT, but to the AChR as well.
