OBJECTIVE: Various materials are used by otolaryngologists for vocal cord injections in the management of vocal cord paralysis. An ideal injection material should be long-term effective, readily available, cheap, easy to prepare, have no donor morbidity, easy to use, biocompatible, resistant to resorption or migration, and easy to extract during revision. BACKGROUND: In 2007 an article was published describing the first forays into the practice of episcleral tattooing. Currently only a handful of people worldwide have undergone this procedure, whereby a needle is used to inject dye under the bulbar conjunctiva. To date there have been no previous reports of the risks and complications of this emerging practice in the medical literature. BACKGROUND AND AIMS: Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) guided choledochoduodenostomy using a lumen-apposing metal stent (LAMS) allows access to the biliary system with a sufficiently large diameter stent. However, an appropriate endoscope for this purpose is required. We evaluated the feasibility of per-oral cholangioscopy (POC) using a multibending ultra-slim endoscope through a LAMS for EUS-guided choledochoduodenostomy.
METHODS: Twelve patients who underwent EUS-guided choledochoduodenostomy, followed by POC via a LAMS, were enrolled. POC was performed with an multibending ultra-slim endoscope.

METHODS: Retrospective review of all patients (adult and paediatric) undergoing cochlear implantation at a tertiary referral centre in England, between April 2019 and December 2021. Split arrays and patients who did not have post-op imaging were excluded.

We present an 84-year-old man with erosion of the chemotherapy port on his chest wall. He had a history of colorectal cancer with liver metastases more than 20 years ago, when he underwent right hemicolectomy and liver resection.
