The DNase I sensitivity of total chromatin has been analyzed in nuclei isolated from control and interferon-treated Daudi cells. The intermediate subnucleus of the nucleus tractus solitarii (imNTS) receives somatosensory inputs from the soft palate and pharynx, and projects onto the nucleus ambiguus, thus serving as a relay nucleus for swallowing. The ultrastructure and synaptology of the rat imNTS, and its glossopharyngeal afferent terminals, have been examined with cholera toxin-conjugated horseradish peroxidase (CT-HRP) as an anterograde tracer. Temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) is the most common focal epilepsy in adults, but cell-type-specific molecular alterations in the epileptic cortex remain incompletely characterized. We performed single-nucleus RNA sequencing on temporal cortex from three patients with drug-resistant TLE and two non-epileptic controls, retaining 66,932 nuclei. The effects of vinblastine sulphate at a dosage of 0.2 mg per 100 g body weight on the secretory ameloblasts of rat incisors were studied 3, 6 and 24 hours and 3 and 7 days after administration of the drug.
