The lateral clavicle hook (LCH), an excessive upward convexity of the lateral clavicle, was formally defined by Igual and Giedion, and reported as always present in thrombocytopenia-radial aplasia syndrome and sometimes in other congenital malformations. Additional malformation syndromes including camptomelia are added. In addition, the hook may be seen in acquired upper extremity weakness such as in persistent brachial plexus injury after birth trauma and in severe osteogenesis imperfecta.

A case of rare osteolysis of the distal clavicle end is reported. Our 36-years old male patients also suffered from a well-discernible Hyperlipoproteinemia, type II/a after Fredrickson. A short view of the various forms of clavicle osteolysis is given. Their differentialdiagnostical and ethiological relations are discussed.

Clear cell myoepithelial carcinoma involving the clavicle is an exceptionally rare malignancy. Its nonspecific clinical and radiologic features pose significant diagnostic challenges, often mimicking more common primary bone tumors such as chondrosarcoma and osteosarcoma. The management of distal clavicle nonunion represents a challenging task for orthopaedic trauma surgeon. Both the choice of the implant and whether a bone graft is needed are controversial points which must be addressed. BACKGROUND: Aneurysmal bone cyst (ABC) is a benign but locally aggressive bone tumor occurring most commonly in the first 2 decades of life. The clavicle is a rare location for tumors, and ABCs of the clavicle have been sparsely described in the literature. We present the largest known series of ABCs of the clavicle to describe this rare condition.
METHODS: Patients were identified retrospectively from an orthopedic oncology database to obtain demographic, diagnostic, and treatment information. A literature search was performed to identify all English language reports of ABC of the clavicle.

Osteochondroma is a benign cartilaginous neoplasm and is the most common benign bone tumor. Osteochondromas arising from the clavicular head are extremely rare and symptomatic cases are even less common. We report a 23-year-old man who presented with dyspnea due to tracheal displacement resulting from a clavicular osteochondroma. The patient underwent successful resection involving a trap-door thoracotomy.
