People with HIV from historically underrepresented racial and ethnic minority (URM) groups are at increased risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD). Guided by the health belief model, we conducted in-depth interviews with URM with HIV, established CVD, and CVD risk factors at three academic medical centers in the Southern United States between November 2019 and March 2020.
