BACKGROUND: Scar endometriosis may develop after pelvic operations, such as cesarean section, tubal ligation, hysterotomy and hysterectomy. This prompted us to demonstrate the proper diagnosis; management and prophylactic procedure of scar endometriosis.

About 3,000 individuals in the United States are born with spina bifida each year. Prenatal surgery for open spina bifida has demonstrated improved neurological and functional outcomes compared to postnatal closure. We report an anesthetic management of the ex-utero intrapartum treatment (EXIT) procedure performed in a fetus with giant epignathus due to laryngeal atresia at 28 weeks' gestation.
