A one-year-old female miniature goat was presented to an emergency service after calving a dead goatling. Physical and ultrasonographic examination revealed the presence of a viable fetus; therefore, the goat was submitted to an emergency cesarean section. We describe a case of incarcerated rectal prolapse caused by blunt abdominal trauma. Emergency treatment consisted of manual reduction with the patient under general anesthesia, proctosigmoidoscopy, and peritoneal lavage.
