INTRODUCTION: The detection of breast cancer is somewhat limited by human factors, and thus there is a need to improve reader performance. This study assesses whether radiologists who regularly undertake the education in the form of the Breast Reader Assessment Strategy (BREAST) demonstrate any changes in mammography interpretation performance over time.

Longitudinal extensive transverse myelitis (LETM) is defined as an intramedullary spinal cord T2 signal abnormality extending craniocaudally over at least three vertebral bodies on an MRI study. Timely and appropriate diagnosis greatly facilitates patient management. The radiologist should review the relevant clinical information and determine the patient demographics and acuity of symptoms. Herein, we review the spectrum of diseases causing LETM and propose interpretation to guide the radiologist when presented with the MRI finding of LETM.

The development of Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA) has greatly enhanced the diagnosis of aortic dissection (AD). However, there is currently no comprehensive reporting requirement for the diagnosis of AD. Structured reporting templates are becoming increasingly common in radiology and other medical fields. Drawing on the standardized writing methods of structured reports for different diseases, the authors propose a structured reporting template for the CTA diagnosis of AD and suggest details for the template while also exploring several hot topics related to AD.
