Myeloid sarcoma (MS) of the lower urinary tract is rare. We describe a 47-year-old man with hematuria, who was subsequently found to have MS involving bladder and epididymis. The neoplasm was composed predominantly of blasts that expressed CD68, CD117, myeloperoxidase, and lysozyme, with occasional immature eosinophils. MATERIAL AND METHODS: A descriptive, retrospective study of patients under 18 years of age diagnosed with myeloid sarcoma between 2010 and 2024. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the clinical significance of genetic and molecular changes in primary myeloid sarcoma (MS).
METHODS: Fourteen patients with primary MS were selected in Jiading District Central Hospital Affiliated Shanghai University of Medicine & Health Sciences, The First People's Hospital of Lianyungang from September 2010 to December 2021. AML1-ETO fusion, PML-RARα fusion and CBFβ breakage were detected by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), and the mutations of NPM1, CEBPA, FLT3, RUNX1, ASXL1, KIT and TP53 genes were detected by new generation sequencing (NGS).

Myeloid sarcoma (MS) is a rare neoplasm of leukemic cells that infiltrates an extramedullary soft tissue. MS may present at initial diagnosis of any myeloproliferative disease or relapse after treatment. It is most commonly associated with acute myeloid leukemia. The incidence of pancreatic involvement of MS is very rare. Herein we present FDG PET/CT findings of a rare case of MS involving the pancreas, which was initially misdiagnosed as pancreatic carcinoma.

Myeloid sarcoma is a rare manifestation of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and is associated with poor overall survival (OS). The optimal treatment remains unclear. The study retrospectively evaluated 118 patients with myeloid sarcoma who were treated at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2010 to July 2021. We report the case of a 73-year-old male with primary myeloid sarcoma (MS) of the prostate. He underwent remission-induction chemotherapy followed by conventional consolidation for acute myeloid leukemia (AML). One year after initial diagnosis, he was without evidence of AML, the longest reported period of time in the literature for a case of primary MS of the prostate. Myeloid sarcoma (MS) of the breast is uncommon. We report this case of a 29-year-old female presented with a breast lump that was diagnosed as hamartoma by radiology. The lump was removed surgically. Nonleukemic myeloid sarcoma (MS) is a rare tumor that can occur in several locations without myeloid leukemia. We reported a first case of nonleukemic MS of the spleen involving the liver in a 5-month-old boy presenting with hematochezia, petechial hemorrhage, fever, and hepatosplenomegaly.
