In this work, a low-cost and sustainable non-animal chitin from Hericium erinaceus residue was used to prepare hydrogels through a facile procedure. The chitin was firstly dissolved in NaOH/Urea aqueous solution by freeze thawing, and then the obtained chitin solution was directly regenerated to form hydrogels. In order to study the effect of the magnitude of vibrations and repetitive exposure on finger blood flow, we exposed ten healthy subjects to three experimental conditions: (1) vibration of 3.16 m/s2 at 60 Hz, (2) vibration of 31.6 m/s2 at 60 Hz, and (3) no vibration, as a control. Cassava starch is a major global starch source, with 80 % of its production generating waste, predominantly cassava bagasse. This study valorized cassava bagasse by developing active packaging films incorporated with nutmeg essential oil (NO) at varying concentrations (1-3% w/w).
