BACKGROUND: Adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC) is a rare and heterogeneous malignancy with poor prognosis. We aimed to evaluate the feasibility of next-generation sequencing (NGS) testing of circulating cell-free tumor DNA (ctDNA) in patients with ACC, to characterize the genomic landscape of alterations, and to identify potential clinically actionable mutations.

CASE REPORT: The case is presented of a 39-year-old woman with metastatic melanoma treated with dabrafenib and trametinib. She presented with a severe acute panuveitis with granulomatous anterior uveitis, vitritis, and multiple serous retinal detachments. OBJECTIVE: This study evaluated the effect of steroid withdrawal after long-term administration on stably functioning renal transplant recipients.
METHODS: Between April 2000 and October 2006, steroid administration was safely withdrawn in 47 patients with stable graft function for >1 year after renal transplantation. The period between renal transplantation and steroid withdrawal varied from 12 to 234 months.
