AIM: To explore the clinicopathological characteristics of patients with anti-GBM antibody-negative anti-GBM disease.
METHODS: The clinical and renal pathological findings were retrospectively studied in 19 patients. All patients met the following inclusion criteria: linear GBM IgG deposition on immunofluorescence(IF); and lack of serum anti-GBM antibodies by ELISA and indirect immunofluorescence assay.

Though critical to normal development and cancer metastasis, how cells traverse basement membranes is poorly understood. PURPOSE: To describe a method of epithelial debridement with the adjunctive use of topical cocaine for the treatment of symptomatic anterior basement membrane dystrophy (ABMD).
METHODS: Retrospective consecutive chart review. Symptomatic patients with ABMD were treated with 4% topical cocaine followed by epithelial debridement. To understand the corneal regeneration induced by bevacizumab, we investigated the structure changes of stroma and basement membrane regeneration. Thin basement membrane disease (TBMD) is a condition originally defined as diffuse thinning of the glomerular basement membrane (GBM) associated with hematuria in all patients.
