The binding of methylene blue (MB) and chlordiazepoxide (CDP) to rabbit plasma was determined by ultrafiltration. The fractions (f) unbound of these two drugs to the plasma were about 23--29 ad 6--12%, respectively. These fvalues were comparable to binding data of these two drugs to bovine serum albumin. Whereas apomorphine increased levels, central depressants such as ethanol, chlordiazepoxide or barbiturates, reduce the content of cerebellar cGMP without altering levels of cyclic adenosine-3',5'-monophosphate (cAMP).
