A group of 90 hospitalized patients suffering from paranoid schizophrenia were examined and than compared with parallel group of 90 healthy volunteers. MMPI profile patterns were compared between combat veteran groups of 168 POW survivors and 67 servicemen who were not war captives in WWII and the Korean Conflict. The personality profiles, as evaluated with Cattell's 16 personality factors test (16 PF), were compared in 25 subjects with gastric ulcer, 25 with duodenal ulcer and 25 healthy controls.
