Treatment intensification has improved survival in patients with hepatoblastoma (HB); however, these treatments are associated with an increased risk of late effects, including second malignant neoplasms (SMNs). Data is limited regarding SMNs following HB treatment. Gliomatosis involving lymph nodes (nodal gliomatosis) is rarely encountered in association with an ovarian teratoma, with 12 cases previously reported. Synovial sarcoma is a rare malignancy that commonly metastasises to the lungs, lymph nodes and more infrequently to the heart. It is associated with an elevated risk of pneumothorax. In this case, we report a case of dual pathology in a metastatic synovial sarcoma patient. The patient not only presented with a pericardial effusion but also with a secondary pneumothorax. Extramammary Paget's disease (EMPD) is an uncommon malignancy that is most commonly seen in the vulval area in postmenopausal women. Pruritus is the predominant symptom. The coexistence of two histologically different primary tumours in the same brain region is relatively rare. The situation where these tumours in collision appear in an area of a previously excised meningioma is even more rare and only two cases have been reported so far. We present the third case of a 73-year-old woman who underwent an uneventful excision of a right sphenoid wing meningioma. A case of primary linitis plastica of the colon is presented. This case is of interest for three reasons: the site of origin in the right colon (80% of cases reported develop distally to the splenic flexure), a biopsy previously taken from the mucosa demonstrated the presence of a signet ring cell carcinoma (endoscopic biopsies do not provide a conclusive diagnosis in the majority of cases reported) and hyaline with sparse amyloid nodules were detected in the extensive, dense fibrous tissue intermingled with tumour cells.

OBJECTIVE AND IMPORTANCE: We report a rare complication after resection of a recurrent intracranial nongerminomatous germ cell tumor in an adult. The growing teratoma syndrome, as originally described with pediatric germ cell neoplasms, represents tumor recurrence, often cystic, that sometimes is observed after partial response to multimodality therapy and despite decreasing tumor serum markers. The enlarging tumor consists of elements of a mature teratoma that presumably are refractory to chemotherapy or radiation. We treated a 26-year-old man with a 19-year history of Ollier's disease. Secondary chondrosarcomas developed metachronously at four separate locations: both femora, left proximal tibia and fibular head.
